Area Civil Engineer (South)

We have been retained by a market leading manufacturer and distributor of construction materials, with a true global presence to source an Area Civil Engineer that will cover the Midlands/South of England. This organisation is a growing business that specialises in technical products and specialist manufacturing process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.   Your main responsibilities will include:  

• Develop client relationships leading to the identification of new leads and opportunities
• Offer product solutions to clients that convert to sales revenue
• Project manage opportunities from inception to delivery taking responsibility for technical and commercial aspects
• Building trust by managing expectations honestly and openly throughout the process
• Maintain own development to ensure that the business can maintain its position as a key player in our sector
• Representing the business at industry events
• Actively engage with internal external customers to drive innovation
• Contribute to the growth of clients in the region

  Currently in a Civil Engineering or Technical Sales role. You will have a HND/HNC in civil/construction engineering or similar and have experience within the construction industry.   Ideally you will have strong geotechnical knowledge and experience with roads/highways/structures etc. You will be commercially aware and astute. You will have excellent communication skills, be credible and have the ability to work autonomously. This is home based role and traveling to clients when needed.   This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure and growing manufacturer in order to progress their career.
