Country Business Controller

Handley James have been retained by a key client of ours, to source an experienced Country Business Controller to monitor and drive country/region financial performance, taking responsibility, adding strategic commentary and reporting the actual results.   Our client is an industry leading expert, part of a £multimillion, global business with sites worldwide you will assess performance against business strategy and make actionable data-driven recommendations on both strategy and operations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.   This will be achieved through presenting critical and insightful financial and operational information and develop forward looking analysis, working with different stakeholders to investigate and identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings and business growth.   Key tasks will include Strategy and Business Planning, Analysis, Commercial Support and Overseeing Budget and forecasting. Working closely with the Accounting Team and External Tax partners and Auditors.   Candidate Requirements   The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) and have the ability to use various computer-based systems. Strong analytical skills, a willingness to travel, be a team player, highly motivated, flexible.   A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar is essential and strong experience in a similar role, a varied exposure to the workings of a finance and commercial department.   In return our client is offering a salary of c£70,000pa, a car or car allowance, bonus and benefits.   If this role is of interest please click the link below or contact Stuart Tomkinson.
