Customer Service and Accounts Manager

Handley James have been retained to confidentially search for an experienced Customer Service and Accounts Manager for one of their key clients. An industry leading expert, part of a £multimillion, global business with sites worldwide. You will lead both the customer services and accounts management teams within the UK.   This role is an amazing opportunity for the right individual and is UK based, the role is a remote or hybrid position ideally within commutable distance to one of their UK sites – locations to be discussed.   Your responsibility will be to retain, grow and optimise customers and customer experiences here in the UK, as well as the continued support of your teams development.   Key Responsibilities  
  • Leads the teams towards both division and company objectives
  • Ensures that all customer needs are met together with customer service and account management
  • Responsible for UK growth and retention of key accounts and customers
  • Leading customer excellence through account managers and customer service.
  • Establishing & developing nominated Key account relationships through strong stakeholder management
  • Analysing and actioning any development points or areas of improvement in processes or customer relationships
  • Analysing the customer feedback and proposing required actions to operations management
  • Supporting the wider internal functions as and when required i.e. Credit Control
  Candidate Requirements  
  • Proven experience within a similar role leading both remote and local teams
  • Experience with both customer services and accounts management across the UK
  • Successful background within CS, Sales and/or account management, ideally within a service or manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Customer focused whilst being commercially astute
  • Advanced experience utilising a CRM
  This role can be a remote position, however our client does have a number of sites in the UK if you prefer hybrid working.   In return our client is offering a very attractive package including salary c£60,000  - £65,000, car/allowance, bonus, and benefits TBD.
