Mechanical Contracts Engineer

I am currently working with a well-established bespoke projects manufacturer. This company has an excellent reputation and is reputed for the high standards of work they deliver. Having won and retained several new accounts, our client is now looking for a Mechanical Contracts Engineer to join and strengthen their leadership team. Managing multi discipline projects in mechanical fit outs.  Working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders, your main responsibilities will be:

• Developing designs and specifications for mechanical fit outs
• Working within acoustics, power generation and similar industries
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously at different stages
• Managing design projects working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Working with clients to produce GE drawings
• Working cross functionally with other managers on resource and capacity
• Establish and sustain high standards of work

Experienced in design and you will have gained exposure to fit out projects within power generation, acoustics or similar industries and client base. Ideally you will have managed multidiscipline teams on both a direct and subcontract basis for fit out purposes. Experienced in managing multiple projects/work-streams, allocating and scheduling work and ensuring deadlines are hit is key.
