Finance Adminstrator

We are partnered with a global manufacturing business specialising in innovative and market leading products supplying into several disciplines. Due to growth within the team we are looking for a Finance Administrator to join them initially on a FTC for 6 months, with a realistic permanent role following this period.   As a Finance Administrator you will be responsible for administrative support across the department including, email inbox management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash book and general admin duties.   Key Responsibilities  
  • Daily data entry for cash management into the system with bank reconciliation, recording of invoices ensuring distribution to the relevant department
  • To undertake internal/external training to offer departmental cover for areas such as VAT and payroll
  • Manage the finance email inbox, deal with, and distribute accordingly
  • Take responsibility for the departments daily incoming and outgoing post, sorting, and distributing throughout the wider team
  • Monitoring and ordering stationary, letterheads, and franking machine supplies for the office
  Key Requirements & Competencies  
  • GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • NVQ or similar in administration would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience within a similar administrative role ideally within a Finance function
  • Strong Microsoft ability including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Motivated and keen to learn and develop
  • Great time management and prioritising skills
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
