We have been retained by a Northwest manufacturer and distributor to recruit a General Manager for their site in Irlam. This organisation is part of a Global business and is in the process of establishing itself as a leader in its field. Our client is currently looking for a General Manager to help to implement and drive improvements across the business strategically, commercially and from an operational perspective, to give them a strong foundation for further growth.   You will be responsible for the following:  
  • Driving and improving business performance to meet strategic and financial goals
  • Creating a one team culture
  • In developing a robust commercial strategy for the business
  • Improving the overall efficiencies of the business, with a focus on OTIF
  • In establishing a robust succession plan across the business
  • In developing and mentoring core team members
  Currently a General Manager or Managing Director within a manufacturer, you will be experienced in driving improvements through an organisation. Ideally, you will have gained experience within both SME and bigger businesses. You will be proven in managing the full business from operations, supply chain, commercial and technical. You will be an excellent communicator, proactive, people focussed and have an entrepreneurial spirit.   As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of up to £130k, car package, pension, healthcare and bonus.
