We have been retained by one of our key clients in the Greater Manchester area to recruit a Health & Safety Manager. Our client is a well-established and reputable SME manufacturer and installer of bespoke products who is now looking for a Health & Safety Professional to support their future growth.   This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.   Role Responsibilities   To act as the competent Health & Safety professional for the business for all product installations for their client base.   You will be responsible for:  
  • Map the H&S strategy for the company in relation of the construction and installation of their key products
  • Attend client sites to support Project Managers in relation to H&S requirements, defined RAMSs and construction phase plans
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on H&S requirements for different stages of construction and installation
  • Train and educate others in the business in relation to the importance of H&S and create ownership throughout the business for H&S
  • Manage the cultural shift around H&S across the business
  Currently in a H&S Manager role, you will be looking to develop your career further. Experience in construction and or installation is key. Knowledge of CDM regulations and CHAS accreditation would be a distinct advantage. NEBOSH certificate is required as a minimum. Most importantly, you will be proven in educating others and creating ownership for HSE.   As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of (Circa) £50,000 plus benefits.
