HSEQ Manager

We have been retained by one of our key clients in the Macclesfield area to recruit a Health & Safety Manager. Our client is a well-established and reputable SME manufacturer and installer of bespoke products who is now looking for a Health & Safety Professional to support their future growth.   This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.   Role Responsibilities   Managing a team, you will act as the competent Health & Safety professional for the business.   You will be responsible for:  

• Map the H&S strategy for the company and deliver on that strategy
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on H&S requirements
• Train and educate others in the business in relation to the importance of H&S and create ownership throughout the business for H&S
• Manage the cultural shift around H&S across the business

  Currently in a H&S Manager role, you will be looking to develop your career further. Experience in a H&S leadership role, in manufacturing is essential. NEBOSH certificate is required as a minimum. You will be focussed on behavioural safety and will be experienced in how to achieve accountability across a business through education, coaching and mentoring. You will be proactive and will be happy to drive improvements directly yourself as well as through a team.   As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of (Circa) £60,000 plus benefits.
