IT Support Specialist

HJC have been retained by a specialist manufacturer of defence and security products to source a IT Support Engineer for their site in Warrington. They are looking to recruit this individual to support the change management programme that is being driven through the site at this point in time.   This role will report to the General manager and will be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of IT systems and processes and will include:  
  • Managing the Service Desk and resolving user queries in a timely manner
  • Managing 1st and 2nd Tier Support
  • Working on CI projects to improve the systems and processes
  • Troubleshooting on software and hardware issues both in person and remotely
  • Working with vendors to provide quotes on key business hardware and systems components
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders
  • Supporting the UK and European site
  Currently in an I.T. support role, you will have gained experience of supporting users across Microsoft 365. You will have managed or introduces a service desk and will be experienced in working with multiple stakeholders. You will be experienced in Active Directory management and PC imaging as well as on desk and remote support.
