Logistics Manager
November 1Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products across a variety of industries. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Logistics Manager to join the business and work collaboratively with the senior management team to introduce and embed a proactive processes in their Logistics function.
This role will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing the logistics and warehouse functions from goods-in to despatch & delivery to customer.

- To ensure the team works cross functionally with supply chain and operations
- Manage the goods in operation to ensure that goods are received, booked in and located correctly
- Implement and sustain transport planning processes and systems
- Manage material flow from the stores/yard to production
- Ensure that the drivers are fully informed of daily and weekly requirements
- Manage delivery to customer
- Work closely with Materials in order to ensure materials are delivered in line with the production plan
- Develop, coach and mentor the driving and stores team
