Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products across a variety of industries. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Logistics Manager to join the business and work collaboratively with the senior management team to introduce and embed a proactive processes in their Logistics function.   This role will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing the logistics and warehouse functions from goods-in to despatch & delivery to customer.   Role Responsibilities:  
  • To ensure the team works cross functionally with supply chain and operations
  • Manage the goods in operation to ensure that goods are received, booked in and located correctly
  • Implement and sustain transport planning processes and systems
  • Manage material flow from the stores/yard to production
  • Ensure that the drivers are fully informed of daily and weekly requirements
  • Manage delivery to customer
  • Work closely with Materials in order to ensure materials are delivered in line with the production plan
  • Develop, coach and mentor the driving and stores team
  An experienced Logistics Manager within a fast-paced environment, you will be engaging, passionate and able to influence. You will be proven in implementing and managing change as well as a strong and collaborative leader who works cross functionally and with others to achieve a goal. There will be challenges along this journey so it is vital that you are pragmatic, positive and have a can do attitude.
