Materials Manager

We have been retained by a key client of ours, a bespoke manufacturer in East Cheshire to source a Materials Manager to lead their Supply Chain function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who really wants to continue to develop their career to the next level with a well-established and growing business.   This is a pivotal role for our client and is viewed as a key appointment in the business.   Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:  

• Managing materials planning, procurement and stock holding
• Implementing and sustaining S&OP
• Inventory management and improvement thereof
• Materials planning & forecasting.
• Work cross functionally to develop sales forecasts and improve accuracy
• Supply chain improvement programmes

  Currently in a supply chain, procurement or materials role within a manufacturer, you will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with multiple SKUs. Experience in successfully integrating S&OP into a business is essential. You will be numerate and analytical and be proven in working in a structured yet collaborative way. Your will have strong excel skills and will be well versed in MRP/ERP.   This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure and growing business.
