Operations Manager

Handley James Chemical are excited to be engaged as the search partner to a global chemical manufacturing business, specialising in fine and speciality chemicals. With recent and continued growth across the business we are confidentially looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead the teams and change that comes with such exciting growth.   As Operations Manager you will be instrumental in leading the multi-discipline teams ensuring increased in efficiencies across the site, drive improvements to improve EHS, throughput, efficiency and quality.   The successful candidate will be an experienced operational leader ideally with previous chemical experience with COMAH knowledge. You will have a strong improvement mindset coupled with exceptional leadership ability and unrivalled communication skills. You will support the wider business and senior leadership team ensuring site KPIs are met and improved upon.   Required experience:  

• Degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline would be advantageous but not essential.
• Proven experience in a leadership capacity on a process manufacturing (Ideally Chemical) site.
• Strong change management experience and a keen focus on continuous improvement.
• You will be an engaging and inclusive leader with a solution driven mindset.
