We have been retained by one of our key clients in the Greater Manchester area to recruit a Quantity Surveyor (M&E). Our client is a well-established and reputable SME manufacturer and installer of bespoke products who is now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support their future growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.  Role Responsibilities
  • Provide essential advice and support with project finances, contractual relationships, and delivery programmes.
     You will be responsible for:
  • Assist and advise the PMs to ensure on time and on budged completion of M&E projects
  • Produce and compile tender responses for clients Including pricing and quality elements
  • Preparation, review and negotiation of contracts i.e. NEC & JCT
  • Engage with existing and new supply chain partners to obtain pricing and quality information in support of tender bids
  • Assist in the development of the procurement programme and carry out sub-contractor procurement
  • Assist in the generation and control of project budgets
  • Defend commercial disagreements for the business
Currently a Quantity Surveyor and will be proven in supporting M&E projects from cradle to grave. You will be a self-starter and have a very hands on approach from a key person who will help build the department and the processes within it. You will be familiar with building and developing internal and external relationships and be an advocate for both the business and the customer.
