Handley James Chemical are partnered with a global, multimillion turnover chemical business with a focus on performance additives in a multitude of divisions. In constant dialogue with change and with a forward-looking vision oriented towards the future, our client believes and inspires its people to listen to intuition, to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, to work towards innovation and to be focused on sustainability.   We are currently recruiting for a driven and commercially aware Regional Sales Manager to work within their Water Solutions division, covering UK&I and Scandinavia.   Covering your region you will be responsible for achieving budgeted sales, market and key growth accounts, by managing the business efforts directly with distributors and end users. You will be focused on building, maintain and developing relationships, identifying sales opportunities within existing accounts and be passionate about growing your regions.   Candidate Requirements;  
  • Proven B2B sales experience within the chemical space (Manufacturing, Distribution etc.) ideally within water treatment solutions
  • Have solution and value driven selling experience
  • Experience pricing and have strong negotiation skills
  • You will have excellent prioritising and time management skills
  • Obtain and maintain accurate data and information about customers, their end users, current and future business plans, and report and make recommendations so that the business may plan and implement programs consistent with the group’s strategic plan
  This role will suit a driven and motivated individual who is commercially astute with a strong background within the chemical industry, a degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or scientific discipline is desirable but not essential.
