Senior CAD Technician

We have been retained to engage with an experienced, and proactive Senior CAD Technician.   This organisation is a growing business that specialises in technical products, solutions, and a specialist manufacturing process. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing in growth and its staff.   Your main responsibilities will include:  

• Auto-CAD design 2D & 3D within a BIM Environment
• Producing detailed construction and design plans
• Working with BIM standards
• Working with technical drawings and ability to review drawings produced by others
• Interrogating and checking 2D drawings and 3D models and associated references
• Understanding working with Civil Engineering design processes and terms
• Setting up seed files and templates
• Working with clients to deliver the best solution for their needs

  Currently in a CAD Technician or Engineer role. You will have experience Civil Engineering CAD and will have worked with BIM Standards. Preferably with experience of highway, rail, residential or slopes. You will have excellent communication skills, be credible and can work autonomously. You will have experience of working with Civils3D, Revit or similar.
