Warehouse and Distribution Manager

Handley James have been retained by a key client to source a Warehouse & Distribution Manager for their growing ecommerce business. They are looking to recruit this individual to support the growth and expansion of the business in the UK and internationally.   This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for progression opportunities with a company that is expanding and investing heavily in growth and its staff.   You will take full responsibility for:  

• Managing, organising, and controlling functional aspects of the warehouse operation
• Managing the 3PL & 3PW agreements
• Improving the warehouse and distribution processes
• Establishing, managing, and improving supplier partnerships
• Managing and developing courier partners
• Maintenance of stock through stock control, bookings, stock takes, and system developments as required.
• Improving the utilisation of the WMS
• Working cross functionally with the inbound supply chain

  You will be a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse and Distribution Manager or Operations Manager currently and ideally will have experience of managing 3PL/3PW agreements. You will be commercially astute and will be a collaborative leader who is engaging.
