Senior Proposal Engineer

We have been retained by a key client of ours who are a Capital Equipment manufacturer to recruit a Senior Proposal Engineer. A specialist manufacturing, installation and service business which is looking to grow and expand is now looking to recruit a Senior Proposal Engineer to support in securing new business and driving commercial success through the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director. You will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals
• Working with customers to understand their specific technical requirements
• Collaborating with engineering, sales and project teams to develop accurate solutions
• Supporting with technical and commercial queries throughout the proposal process
• Reviewing specifications, drawings and tender documents
• Ensuring proposals are delivered on time and aligned with customer requirements
• Supporting the sales team in securing orders and converting opportunities
• Contributing to continuous improvement of proposal processes and documentation

Currently a Proposal Engineer, Applications Engineer or similar working within a technical or engineered environment. You will have experience in preparing quotations or proposals and be confident interpreting technical requirements. You will be proactive, an excellent communicator and looking to further develop your career within a growing organisation.
