CAD Engineer

Handley James are currently working with a specialist manufacturer and installer of bespoke equipment. This organisation has a fantastic reputation and is currently experiencing a growth trajectory with an extremely strong order book. As a result of this they are now looking to recruit a CAD Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proven and now looking to progress and develop their career further.   As a CAD Engineer, you will take full responsibility for design projects, from order handover through to final instillation and client handover.   You will be responsible for:  

• Managing multiple design projects ranging from £100k to circa £1 Million.
• Create detailed CAD drawings for various engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements.
• Ensure drawings adhere to established specifications and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documentation.
• Developing 2D Fabrication drawings.
• Generating GA Drawings.
• Working with manufacturing to produce bespoke products.
• Monitoring and reporting progress internally and with customers

  Currently a CAD Engineer will be proven in managing design projects from cradle to grave.
