Financial Controller

We have been retained by a key client of ours, a bespoke manufacturer in Shrewsbury to source a Financial Controller to lead their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who really wants to continue to develop their career to the next level with a well-established and growing business.   This is a pivotal role for our client and is viewed as a key appointment in the business.   Reporting to the MD, this is the number 1 finance role on site and you will be responsible for:  

• Month end analysis and reporting
• Forecasting analysis and consolidation
• Board pack/MI collation
• Management accounts
• Project management
• Business partnering with key stakeholders in the business.
• Improving processes and providing effective analysis and commentary

  Ideally you will have gained experience in a manufacturer or distributor, you will have gained experience in consolidating information and data and will be proven in challenging and questioning the numbers. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, be credible and have the ability to work autonomously. This is a new role in a growing business so if you do have experience of establishing processes and practices from grass roots, this would be advantageous.   This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure and growing business.
