Handley James have been retained by a specialist Manufacturer of bespoke products in the Yorkshire area to recruit a proactive and commercially driven Head of Finance to lead their Finance function. This organisation is one of the leading manufacturers of their product in their industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress and develop their career further within a well-established organisation that is expanding and investing heavily in growth and its staff.
Reporting directly to the CFO/CEO, your main responsibilities will include:
- Support the growth of an already rapidly growing business
- Act in an advisory capacity to the owners in relation to the direction of the business/business decisions
- Ensure financial compliance and integrity
- Be proactive in providing solutions to current challenges (i.e. growth, increased fuel prices, CAPEX investments etc)
- Evaluate business cases and financial options to support operational growth targets
- Develop tools/projects to improve the way in which the business operates
Currently a commercially driven Head of Finance/ Financial Controller/Finance Director within manufacturer or distributor. You will be experienced in working in an advisory capacity to the board on business decisions. You will have the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Experienced in leading a team of finance professionals at different levels of development you will have proven skills in developing and coaching others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be highly self-motivated, looking to progress your career and have a high work ethic. You will be fully qualified and will be looking for an opportunity to progress your career.
