We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract based across two sites, both in Blackburn.
The successful candidate will provide full HR support to UK Manufacturing and Commercial teams (Commercial Operations, Design, Sales). This role will also be the point of contact for recruitment, engagement and HR activity across the manufacturing site and commercial functions.
The role will cover all aspects of general HR from employee relations, engagement groups and project work to supporting internal stakeholders with leadership training, as well as assisting with recruitment and onboarding. You will be a proactive person who is adept at building strong trusting relationships, is a proven HR Generalist who can support the UK teams and a positive and visible individual.

- An HR background within this role is essential, with up-to-date employment law knowledge and legislation of HR practices.
- Experience within a unionised manufacturing environment would be strongly advantageous.
- Level 5 CIPD qualifications or equivalent would also be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent working knowledge and awareness of employment relations legislation and regulation relevant to the region(s).
- Excellent working knowledge of confidentiality, data protection and security standards and expectations.
- Evidence of continual professional development.
- Commercially astute.
- Displays a confident and professional manner.
- Willingness to train and upskill self and others.
