HVAC Design Engineer

Handley James are currently working with a specialist manufacturer and installer of bespoke equipment. This organisation has a fantastic reputation and is currently experiencing a growth trajectory with an extremely strong order book. As a result of this they are now looking to recruit a HVAC Design Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proven and now looking to progress and develop their career further. As a HVAC Design Engineer, you will take full responsibility for design projects, from order handover through to final instillation and client handover. You will be responsible for:   • Managing multiple design projects ranging from £100k to circa £1 Million. • Create detailed CAD drawings for various projects. • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements. • Ensure drawings adhere to established specifications and standards. • Assist in the preparation of engineering documentation. • Generation Airflow Calculations • Duct-work & Ventilation • Surveys, specifications & commissioning. • Developing 2D Fabrication drawings. • Generating GA Drawings. • Monitoring and reporting progress internally and with customers   Currently a HVAC Design Engineer will be proven in managing design projects from cradle to grave. You will be a self-starter and have a very hands-on approach and help build the department and the processes within it.
