We are partnered with a global, market leading business who are at the forefront of innovation and technology, ensuring they provide proven and practical solutions to their clients.   We have been retained to engage with an innovative, driven and experienced Product Manager to join their team.   Within the team, you will be responsible for, the product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. Develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and industry insight.   Key Responsibilities   In line with the above, the successful candidate will assist the SPM in areas of product planning and marketing including;  
  • Translating business strategy into product strategy
  • Ownership of product roadmap for designated products
  • Execute product strategy for designated products
  • Drive action throughout the organisation to get products to market
  • Plan and carry out product launches
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
  • Write high-level requirements for new products
  • In conjunction with Applications Technology, develop positioning, proposition messaging and specification strategy to differentiate products in the market
  • Collaborate with the various internal functions including, but not limited to, Sales, Marketing, Applications, Technology and the SLT.
  • Managing product approvals and certification in conjunction with the Manufacturing and Applications Technology teams.
  • Third party supplied product account management
  Candidate Requirements  
  • Previous experience on product management, preferably within the construction sector, ideally centred on ‘performance specification’, business to business type products.
  • A qualification in Product Management would be advantageous i.e. SOSTAC, APLEE, Ansoff, Matrix, PESTEL, etc.
  • Experience of managing product family of high end, high value product offerings in a competitive sector
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience of markets with high barriers to entry (certifications, etc.)
  • Ideally experienced of a value or consultative selling environment
  • Experience within projects managed internationally and cross territory would also be an advantage
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English is necessary; a second European language would also be advantageous
  • Financial awareness and an understanding of what factors influence revenue and EBITDA
