Handley James have been retained by a well-established, engineering biased, manufacturer of specialist products based in Stockport. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Production Manager to join the business and work collaboratively to support the expansion of the business from a manufacturing and engineering perspective.
Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing overall leadership across Production, Planning, Maintenance and HSE
- Improving processes
- Establishing, monitoring, and improving core KPIs
- Improving the overall efficiencies of the business
- In developing and mentoring core team members
Experienced as a Production Manager or Production Supervisor within an engineering biased manufacturer, you will be experienced in improving an organisation but in a measured and consistent way. Ideally, you will have gained experience within an SME. You will be proven in improving processes in a controlled way. You will be open, honest and transparent in terms of your core behaviours and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of between £35,000 and £45,000.
