Project Engineer

Handley James are currently working with a specialist manufacturer and installer of bespoke equipment. This organisation has a fantastic reputation and is currently experiencing a growth trajectory with an extremely strong order book. As a result of this they are now looking to recruit a Project Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proven and now looking to progress and develop their career further.   As a Project Engineer, you will take full responsibility for end to end projects, from order handover through to final instillation and client handover.   You will be responsible for:

• Managing multiple projects ranging from £100k to circa £20 Million
• Managing projects from order to final handover
• Liaising with functions as Sales, Design, Production, Engineering, and installation
• Identifying and mapping out project milestones
• Managing engineering changes and allocating costs
• Monitoring and reporting progress internally and with customers

  Currently a Project Engineer or Project Manager and will be proven in managing projects from cradle to grave. You will be a self-starter and have a very hands-on approach and help build the department and the processes within it. You will be familiar with building internal and client relationships and be an advocate for both the business and the customer.   This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure, and growing business where career progression is available.
