Quality Manager

We have been retained by a specialist manufacturer to recruit a Quality Manager for their site in Warrington. This organisation is part of a Global business and is in the process of establishing itself as a leader in its field. Our client is currently looking for a Quality Manager to help to implement and drive improvements across the business, to give them a strong foundation for further growth.   You will be responsible for the following:
  • Leadership of the Quality team
  • Ownership of the ISO9001 & 14001 Management System throughout the company
  • Ensure compliance with product certification and testing requirements
  • Lead internal and supplier quality initiatives
  • Develop an engrained Quality culture
  • Manage the testing of materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Oversee quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process
  • Utilise quality tools such as 8D, 5Y FMEA and Root Cause
  • Ownership of the Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Support other functional areas of the business including purchasing, customer services and design
  • Develop and mentor core team members
    Currently a Quality Manager within a fast paced or multi process manufacturer, you will be experienced in driving improvements through an organisation. Ideally, you will have gained experience within both SME and larger businesses. You will be proven in improving quality and sustaining these improvements and will have achieved this through employee engagement and development. You will be open, honest, and transparent in terms of your core behaviours and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. IOSH or NEBOSH is highly desirable.   As an expanding organisation and one that is extremely entrepreneurial, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of between £60,000 and £65,000 + package.   Only pro-active, innovative candidates need apply.
