We have been retained by a specialist Food Manufacturer based in the North West to source a SHEQ Manager to head up their QSE team and to improve their current processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who really wants to develop their career to the next level with a well-established and growing SME Manufacturer.   Heading up a small SHEQ team you will be responsible for championing Food Safety, Quality and HSE throughout the business. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:  
  • Implementing effective food safety standards
  • Implementing a more structured QMS
  • Maintaining a culture of Health & Safety
  • Ensuring that the team are compliant and educated
  • Engaging with the people.
  • Mentoring and developing the team
  Currently a Quality, Food Safety or HSE professional within a food manufacturer you will be experienced in engaging with people at all levels on your subject matter. You will be experienced in gaining buy-in from cross functional teams and implementing effective systems and processes. Our client is ideally looking for someone who is going to be innovative and energetic in their approach.   This is an ideal opportunity for a Quality or Safety professional who is looking for an opportunity to really ‘make a difference’ and add value to a growing food manufacturer. This role offers immediate challenge as well as the opportunity to be involved, and lead, group wide projects.
