Supply Chain Manager

We have been retained by a bespoke manufacturer in Stoke-On-Trent to source a Supply Chain Manager to head up their Purchasing & Supply Chain function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who really wants to continue to develop their career to the next level with a well-established and growing business.   This is a pivotal role for this bespoke SME manufacturer and distributor and is viewed as a key appointment in the business.   Reporting to the Managing Director and with a multi-disciplined supply chain team reporting into you, you will be responsible for:  

• Managing purchasing, materials planning, stock holding and dispatch.
• Managing the day-to-day material flow from supplier, through production and out to customer
• Purchasing, procurement & supplier development
• Materials planning & forecasting.

• Dispatch load planning
• Managing 3PL relationships and agreements
• Supply chain improvement programmes

  Currently a Supply Chain Manager within a manufacturer or distributor, you will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with multiple SKUs. You will be experienced in the full end to end supply chain management with experience of managing purchasing, procurement, inventory, dispatch and 3PL . You will be an excellent relationship builder and a highly effective leader. You will be numerate and analytical and be proven in working in a structured yet collaborative way. Experienced and proven in developing high performing teams is key.   This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join an established, secure and growing business.
