Warehouse Manager

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of products to a variety of industries from healthcare to engineering. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Warehouse Manager to join the business and work collaboratively with the senior management team to introduce and embed proactive processes across their warehouse function.   This role will report to the Operations Director and will be responsible for managing the warehouse function from.   Role Responsibilities:  

• Manage the goods in operation to ensure that goods are received, booked in and located correctly
• Manage material flow
• Introduce lean material flow process (kanban)
• Develop systems and processes in order to improve material traceability and efficiency
• Develop, coach and mentor the team
• Lead improvement projects

  An experienced Warehouse Manager within a manufacturing or distribution company in fast paced environment, you will be engaging, passionate and able to influence. You will be proven in implementing and managing change as well as a strong and collaborative leader who works cross functionally and with others to achieve a goal. There will be challenges along this journey so it is vital that you are pragmatic, positive and have a can do attitude.
