Warehouse Manager

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and distributor of products that are supplied into the construction and build sector. As a result of expansion, growth and continued development they have retained our services to source a Warehouse Manager to join the business and work collaboratively with the team to introduce and embed proactive processes across their warehouse function. This role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for managing the warehouse functions from goods-in to despatch & delivery to customer. Role Responsibilities:  

• Manage the goods in operation to ensure that goods are received, booked in and located correctly
• Ensure the team are complying to processes
• Ensure the WMS is being utilised fully
• Inventory accuracy
• Manage material flow from the warehouse to production
• Ensure on time delivery to customer
• Develop, coach and mentor the team

  An experienced Warehouse Supervisor or Manager within a manufacturing or distribution environment, you will be engaging, passionate and able to influence. You will be proven in implementing and managing change as well as a strong and collaborative leader who works cross functionally and with others to achieve a goal. There will be challenges along this journey so it is vital that you are pragmatic, positive and have a can do attitude. You will be experienced in WMS, inventory management, improving g inventory accuracy and making practical improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well reputed company that is growing. You will be rewarded with a salary of between £40,000 and £45,000.
